Godzilla Battle For Earth: The KING

What's a Godzilla game without Godzilla?


DESIGN

This will probably upset a lot of you, but bare with me. Yes, I will be redesigning Godzilla (as well as all the other characters in the game), but I will be doing it in moderation for the most part.


Yes, in some ways, he will be an infamous "dinozilla", with some new dinosaurian features (muscular theropod legs, dinosaur like head, reptilian skin, alligator tail and fluke). This will also piss you off: he will be slimmer than most of the Japanese Godzilla suits. Don't worry, he won't be an anorexic T-rex like GINO though. Speaking of rubber suits, my version of Godzilla won't look like one. Despite this, he will still be very muscular and anthropomorphized like his Japanese counterpart, while also adding a lot of new features

To give you a better picture of what I'm talking about, here's a description of him:


GODZILLA
1. Well have a very lean, humanoid build, but will still have enough bulk and muscle to support himself. While humanoid, this Godzilla has muscular dinosaurian legs and can run in a horizontal position when needed. The arms will also be somewhat short to reflect a dinosaurian ancestry and will have taloned hands and a thumb spike at the end.

2. This Godzilla will have a green and black color scheme, a gray, speckled underbelly and foot/hand pads, orange eyes, black claws, grayish spikes, and yellow teeth along with dark red gums and tongue.

3. He will have a number of dinosaurian and reptilian features, including dinosaurian feet and legs, an alligator like tail, short, allosaur like arms, a dinosaurian head, pebbly reptilian skin, nictitating membrane like a crocodile, thumb spikes, a scaly crocodilian underbelly, and a "S" shaped theropod like neck. He will also have a lot of realistic movements, such as running and charging in a horizontal theropod style, swimming like a crocodile, moving his arms in attack styles similar to a Baryonyx or Iguanadon, leaping like a Velociraptor, among other things.

4. While this Godzilla will be much more dinosaurian than the original, it will still have a lot of features from the original. These features include: the classic 54' Goji fangs (albeit alongside dinosaurian teeth), a long, dragging tail (although this will be lifted up while running), a humanoid build, walk, and stance (although once again, it converts to the traditional horizontal theropod stance while running), Mosu-Goji style "eyebrows",massive Heisei style knees, cat like muzzle, and bulky build (although this version has been slimmed down, but not to the point of being anorexic like GINO, imagine it to be like the Delgado Goji). His head will be like a more dinosaurian version of the one seen in these pictures:

5. New design concepts and intentions were to make Godzilla leaner, faster, sharper and more life like. This was done by:
a. Slimming him down, but not to the point of being unrealistic where it looks like he can't support his own weight,. Again, imagine it to be like the Delgado Goji.
b. Once again slimming him down, but also giving him muscular (not scrawny) dinosaurian feet and legs to both support his massive weight, but also propel him at high speeds of up to 200 mph.
c. I made Godzilla sharper by putting more focus on his claws, teeth, and spikes. I made the teeth more apparent and gave him multiple types of teeth for both crushing and slashing, along with he traditional fangs. I gave him more talon like claws for slashing and a thumb spike for stabbing. I also made the spikes look like they can be used as razor sharp defensive weapons, as well as adding some small spikes on the arms and legs. Also, the alligator like fluke(s) on his tail can be used to slash opponents.
d. I made Godzilla more life like by giving him more dinosaurian and reptilian traits, you already know that. But I will also be giving him more life like movements and gestures.



Moving on...


CHARACTER

No, Godzilla won't be a mindless engine of destruction. He won't be a campy fire breathing super hero. He will NOT be an asexual, hermaphrodite, anorexic, run-away-from-the-military pseudo-dinosaurian iguana.


Now, what IS my take on Godzilla's nature? Well, imagine him to be like the De Bont Godzilla crossed with the Marvel version. He defends the Earth (but not humanity for the most part), can tell if a monster is a friend or a foe when he meets them, is very animalistic, and highly intelligent.

He defends the planet (but again, not necessarily humans) from external threats such as rampaging mutants and alien invasion, even if he has to destroy a few cities along the way.


THEME

My Godzilla (along with all the other monsters) would have his own theme song in the game. It would be mostly an original theme similar to the Hulk's theme from Louis Letterer's movie, with plenty of cues from his original theme thrown in. Also, the theme you hear when you beat Story Mode as him will literally be a revised, more modern version of his original theme by Akira Ifukube.

CONTROLS


To give you a clear idea, here's Godzilla's move set:

A= Claw attacks, like an allosaurus crossed with a bear, press repeatedly for claw combos

A+swing Wiimote up= Thumb spike uppercut

A+swing Wiimote down= Throat bite

B= Kick, press repeatedly for Kick combos

B+swing Nunchuk down= Stomp (causes foe to grab foot in pain)

B= swing Nunchuk up= Head Uppercut (stuns)

A+B and swing Wiimote down= Tail sweep (G:DAMM style)

A+B and swing Wiimote to the side= Tail Whip

A+B and swing Wiimote up= Tail uppercut

C= tap for fire ball, hold for Atomic Breath

Z= Block

Z while moving= Brace

Z and shake Nunchuk+ Rush (like Delgadosaurus)

Z and shake Wiimote= Counter

Shake Nunchuk= Jump

Shake Nunchuk while moving= Leap

A+B+C+Z= Finisher Breath

As I said before, I will be using mostly a Showa size range for the monsters, mostly around 150-200 feet. Godzilla will be 150 feet, but his Critical Mass mode will be 250 and Super Godzilla will be about as big as giant Jet Jaguar, and so will Bagan.

so will the monsters continue grow in height during the game

yes, once again monsters will grow about a hundred feet taller during Critical Mass.

For the most part, Critical Mass hasn't really changed in the way it looks, monsters still grow and burst at the seams with red energy in this mode.

what i mean is when they age they grow 5 feet in height till the point where their at least 80 meters or smaller or taller than that

i think i have an idea will you make story mode on how godzilla grew from an infant to adult

no, the maximum will be 180, the main Godzilla is 150, Godzilla Classic is 180, Minilla is War of the Monsters or Baragon sized, and Super Godzilla is 350 feet tall.

Technically it IS Godzilla Jr., who basically will look like a juvenile version of Godzilla. I just wanted to use the name Minilla. Also, he will have Jr's Atomic spark ray (one used on the Destoroyah spawn) and Minilla's smoke rings.
