Hey, here's a new project I've been working on. It's basically a MASSIVE rethinking of the Godzilla 94 script. It will have a new monster (yes, an original creation), some new characters, and a more anime feel ala Neon Genesis Evangelion.

It basically follows the same plot of Godzilla 94, having a monster created by an ancient biotech civilization from dinosaur genes defending the Earth from alien invasion. But I've added a few more elements as i mentioned earlier.

The new monster will be an original creation, albeit inspired by Godzilla. Both are giant dinosaurs with indestructibility and a breath weapon. The monster's name will be derived from the word "Jira", as a reference to Gojira. It will probably be something like Jiragon. Another element I gave this monster was a new energy source, instead of being powered by nuclear energy, he will e powered be super powered mitochondrial and cellular energy. That being said, he will have a super powered metabolism powered by mitochondria, can release destructive energy shock waves of cellular energy, and can fire meteors of solidified, burning enzymes. He will have the same origins of Godzilla 94, being created by an ancient civilization from dinosaur genes, but we will also get deeper into this civilization. Yes, we will see a giant, destroyed organic city under the polar ice caps, the dreams about the civilization and the aliens, and perhaps a few other kaiju created by them.

Now for some of the other changes. Thew St. George project will feel more like a serious government project, like NERV or G-Force. That being said, it will now have some super weapons and heavy artillery, including an all terrain battle ship and even a giant robot later in the series.


I am also considering having "Jira" attack an Eskimo village instead of a Japanese one to give it more of an immediate feel. I will also be altering some of the characters, I plan on combining Junji and Marty into one character and perhaps adding Junji/Marty's son. Junji will be pretty similar to the way he was in the script, but he will be the one who develops the infection and dies.


His son on the other hand, will be very vengeful, wanting to see "Jira" destroyed for the destruction of his village and the death of his mother. Later in the series, here's something I am considering for him: Him becoming the pilot of the St. George project's giant robot, sometimes battling and sometimes allying with "Jira". His character is still under development.


Any suggestions for things I can change with the Gryphon? I plan to change his name to Ziz, after the Biblical monster. Yes, I plan to introduce the Behemoth and the Leviathan later in the series.
