As you all know, I'm working on my own "American Godzilla" movie project. It will combine elements from past attempts to bring Godzilla to the US, such as Godzilla 3-D and Godzilla vs. the Gryphon. Currently, i am asking for help from and am thinking about asking too. As all of you know, i will also be asking to draw my version of Godzilla and the space monster he fights in the script. The sketches should be out sometime late next month.


Here's the story for it so far:

A meteor is streaking through the black depths of space. It strikes a nuclear satellite on it's way into earth's orbit, causing the satellite to launch a nuclear missile into the South Pacific. Knocked off course by the collision, the meteor lands in the Arctic Circle. Meanwhile, the massive explosion caused by the nuke has awakened and mutated a giant dinosaur like creature that was slumbering at the bottom of the ocean.

Investigating the explosion is a US submarine. Upon expecting the undersea crater created by the missile, the submarine is destroyed by the mutant dinosaur. Later, the beast descends on a Japanese fishing village on Oto Island and destroys a fishing ship in search of food. The demolished fishing ship then washes up on the Mexican shoreline, a survivor muttering the word "Gojira".


Meanwhile at the North Pole, scientist have salvaged the meteor and take it to Los Angeles for study. At the same time, a team of scientists have gone to Oto Island to investigate, and after seeing Godzilla "attack" the village (Godzilla will either be confused or searching for food), they decide to call in the Navy.

In a lab in Los Angeles, the giant meteor salvaged in the North Pole is showing signs of life. Back in the waters surrounding Oto Island, Godzilla battles the Navy, defending himself and his territory. The Navy fleet suffers many losses, Godzilla following the surviving ships back to San Fransisco.

Godzilla, confused in his new surroundings (San Fransisco), and irritated from being under attack by the military, rampages across the city, battling fighter jets in Union Square and destroying an aircraft carrier by setting it ablaze with his radioactive breath and smashing it to pieces. Discovering the radioactive nature of Godzilla's metabolism, it is decided that using a nuclear retardant to subdue him. Godzilla is led to the Golden Gate Bridge, having missiles filled with nuclear retardants fired at him, one going in his mouth. Unconscious, Godzilla is airlifted away by six mega sized helicopters.

The meteor taken to LA turns out to be the cocoon of the giant space monster Higastron. The monster is similar in appearance to the Planet Eaters from Monsterpocalypse. Seeing the destruction caused by this new monster, the military decides to use Godzilla to battle this new menace.

The recovering Godzilla is airlifted to the city limits of LA. Unfortunately, Godzilla awakens prematurely and escapes from his bindings, heading for the city in the distance, following the main characters (still being developed) who are in a helicopter. Eventually, the two monsters meet. Towards the end of the battle, Godzilla rips/bites of his opponents head after firing his radioactive breath into his opponent's mouth, causing it's beheaded body to EXPLODE. Godzilla is knocked back by the explosion, right into LA bay. Seeing that his enemy is defeated, Godzilla, leaves the destroyed city behind and swims out to sea.
