Hey, neat model, but who made this, and what is it for? I don't recognize it, though it reminds me of something from a movie years back. Sorry i don't do anime or I would be happy to oblige.

It was made by Stan Winston (pictured), the guy who did the effects for Jurassic Park. It would have been used in the original version of the US Godzilla remake.

Cool. The Gryphon.

Thanks my version will look something like this:

GRYPHON DESIGN
1. Hair, horns and Quills on the back of his neck and tail
2. Made the wings spikier and more muscular, as well as larger.
3. Added a large spike on his knees, shoulders, and elbows.
4. Gave him a Gigan-like sail/wing/fin down the middle of his back.
5. made the inside of his mouth black like a dog's.
6. Like Todd Tennant’s design, I elongated his snout and gave him ram horn, and I also gave him a rattle on his tail (this version like the spines on Varan Neo’s tail) and bovine legs.
7. Unlike your design, it is much more like the production model color-wise and has the same skin texture throughout most of its body.
8. Made his teeth/dental features seem like a mix between a feline, a snake, and a bat.
9. Gave him some vestigial spikes and toes on his feet, making them look like cow's feet with rooster spurs on them.
10. I made his hands seem more like a cross between a cougar’s paw and a vulture's foot.
I made the snakes in his mouth slimier, scalier, spikier, longer, more deformed/mutated and more Ghidorah-like.
11. I gave him black eyes, his eyes looking like a cross between a bat's and a vulture's, but they glow in the dark like a cat's and acidic blood can be shot out of them.
12. I gave him some Gigan-like spikes on his tail.
13. I refined his body proportions and musculature.
14. Gave him armor on his arms and legs
15. Gave him bird-like armor on his hands and feet.
16. Gave him spikes on his shoulders, elbows, and knees.

Awesome! Wait, if King Ghidorah is in theGodzilla thing your doing, what will The Gryphon be in? A sequel? Snakes in mouth? Like the Grab-oids in Tremors, only like Ghidorah's heads?

The Gryphon originally supposed to be King Ghidorah in Godzilla 1998 remake but they remove it.

Yeah, they had a legal issue with Toho and had to cut him. Still, I like the Gryphon, he works better in the script. Ghidorah's still cooler, though

I'm doing two SEPERATE Godzilla projects, one for Godzilla vs' Gryphon and one for Godzilla 3-D. I'm going to need a lot of time and help with these projects, got any suggestions. Oh, and I want both to be done in a manga style.
