Anyway, my only complaint with this design is the swept back arms..looks good on a Rex with those small arms...but considering the size of this models arms the angle looks odd .

I am a G-fan and the story should be respected, the one you call "fat" is the best design for an American godzilla, it respects Godzilla´s original idea, I just love that design.
I hate the way hollywood tend to destroy ideas with so much potential, just like the crappy gino movie, Jesus, that movie just sucks.
I like the "fat" design, just not as much as this one, I think it would have worked better in the original movie script that i found, I'll send it to you later.
